Pros

In a small space running wires can be a very untidy way to set up so using a good Bluetooth wireless system can look minimal and maintain the existing look of a space.

Most wireless Bluetooth systems only require one powerpoint or usb plug, some can even run from an internal battery for limited periods of time.

Cons

Reconnecting every time you want to play music can be a problem as not all systems auto-connect after being powered on. Another issue can be losing connection and connecting to a nearby Bluetooth system, such as headphones.

Larger – Wired PA system

Pros

Once set up the connection will never drop and will be set up every time you turn on your system.

Power to the speakers can be sent down the wire so only one power socket would be required as long as the speakers do not require a separate power source. The system can not accidentally connect to another device which could be embarrassing.

Cons

Running wires between speakers can take time and effort. Putting holes in walls and feeding wires through drilled holes could be destructive to your lovely building.
